How do living things use soil?
Humans use soil mostly for growing things and for food
Animals that are on the Earth surface use soil for food, reproduction and habitat, which is the same with plants.
Plants grow in soil which is their one and only habitat and from there plants can give us oxygen so we can breathe.
How does soil help us?
Soil helps us by making our houses, roads and other architectural structures more stables and gives them a nice levelled platform. It also holds filters and stores most of our drinking water and provides habitat for animals and plants. It also helps us grow plants and other crops which can help us improve our agriculture.
